Who and Why
Jaren and Jesse, twins, are Eagle Scouts and have been serving the community for some years now installing flags throughout the year on key holidays. Despite many Scouts troops dissolving, they feel strongly about continuing the same level of service for their customers. In fact, it was their customers who urged the boys to continue the program. So, the twins formed JJ Flags, LLC (JJ for their names’ sake), and as flag routes were abandoned, they were able to add them to theirs over time. Jaren and Jesse are no longer affiliated with the Boy Scouts, yet the same dedication to service and community remains. Their focus is now working on their college fund, and so the revenue from their flag route is dedicated to that purpose. But they aren’t just doing this for themselves. The other purpose of forming JJ Flags is to help encourage other teens to serve their communities with patriotism, all the while earning money for their own college funds.
The twins are building on the foundation they learned in the Scouts program of service through honor, integrity, and courage, utilizing this opportunity of running a business to teach them the life skills they will need to become productive members of society. So far, they have managed to build a route that goes far and wide throughout The Woodlands and Conroe, however, they seek to add more and need your help. Although Jaren and Jesse are grateful to all their customers’ support over the years, their true hope is to keep the spirit of this great nation alive, a nation that stands for truth, justice, and liberty, which burns within all of us no matter what challenges come our way.
As our logo specifies, we beleive in service, honor and courage. Service because a community is all about how we can serve one another and also give thanks for all those who have served our communities, nation, and the world. Honor in how we respect the flag and those who have fought for our freedoms. Courage in standing up for what is right and true.
